Just finished playing the first 3 games on my old PS2 and I miss this series so much. The fourth game is a Wii exclusive and I'm really considering buying a Wii to play it now. 

Do we have any hope of seeing a new entry in the series ?   It's been almost six years since FF4.

I would gladly buy any console that happened to have this game released on.

Sadly, the chances  are very slim. Nintendo is probably too scared to give it a try.

Really hope so. I'd also recommend that you try the Fatal Frame 2 remake for Wii.

I hope so, the WiiU Gamepad would make so much sense with these games. Instead of porting 2 to Wii they should have redone all 4 for WiiU

The Fatal Frame franchise is now partly owned by Nintendo. I've heard chatter that a Wii U version employing the Gamepad would be great -- and maybe it's in development, but we still haven't heard/seen anything.

Knowing Nintendo, if there isn't a character with no green hat or doesn't speak intalin, don't count on it. Nintendo don't do mature game, too spooky for their image.

It was the highest selling of the series in Japan.
