on the contrary
the wii is increasing the gap significantly each week

Well, I won't try detailing why it's going to happen cause I've found it pointless cause people will jsut end up calling me names.

You just watch, it's going to happen unless something catatrophic happens in the industry that no one saw coming.

I'm not saying Sony says this or Sony plans for this. I'm jsut stating what I can so clearly observe that it seems not many others can't. It's a bit baffling to me cause it's kinda obvious but hey, it is what it is I guess.

Come on, the wii wasn't even in the same price point. Ofcourse it sold quicker, it was dirt cheap compared to the two others.

Chubear has a point about the price. IF sony was able to drop price to about 250 i think it would sell on par with the Wii. The Wii is far ahead though so I dont think it would catch up. It would depened on how long each console lasted.

Yes I know it may look that way now but jsut you watch. By 2009 the wii will start to leak oil like crazy and the PS3 would just  be catching on fire.

 You guys who laugh at me or doubt what I'm saying need to ask yourself - How on earth can teh wii out sell the NES @ roughly 65mill when it has 2 major competitors to deal with when the NES had virtually none?

 How can the wii sell PS1 or PS2 type numbers when it's sole purpose is gaming? The PS1 & PS2 got into the 100mill zone cause they could do more than just play games and thus catered to a broader base.

 Could the wii do N64 numbers of roughly 34mill? I think that's more likely. Could it do SNES numbers of roughly 45mill? Dont' think so but it's possible sure; but for the wii to do NES numbers? No way Jose - please quote me on that.

 Well some people said the Wii will leak oil at Q4 2007 When Halo 3 Launch and the PS3 finaly got some decent games...Then they said it will happen at the end of 2007 still the Wii has outsold the PS3 and X360.

Why will it happen in 2009?
