Actually it does look very demanding. I doubt that what you see on the screens would be possible on PS4 with 1080p and an acceptable framerate.

Does it? Maybe it's just me then.

High res textures, dynamic shadows, sophisticated lighting, lots of vegetation, open world and all this with a good amount of AA. The PS4 can handle some of it but not all of it at the same time.

Seems more like a M&KB kinda game to me, but the more exposure it gets, the better. It looks incredible.

But... You have it the wrong way around, the software is optimized for the hardware, thus the CryEngine is optimized for the Xbox One. :)
