Is the number of posts a god measure of your status? I think not.

Other factors could be considered as well, for instance:
- number of days logged in (just one a day)
- started threads
- quoted posts could be better than number of posts (= you said something more valueable than just a few words nobody cares about)
- other stuff?

So I would suggest a score system. Like this:
Your points = 10*number of days logged in +
1*number of posts +
3* number quoted posts +
10 * started threads
And then your status based on your score:
>1000 = member
>2000 = pro
>5000 = etc
What do you say about it?



Lost my faith in VGChartz. Too many stupid and ignorant Americans, even as moderators.

It's a shame, really. "The Boss" should do something radical about this Americanization, but it seems hardly feasible, so my days here are numbered.

 Good for you (= pro), but a system could be easily implemented by the server side, as long as the rules are clear.
