Not joking. Still expecting X1 and Wiiu to keep up just enough that PS4 won't reach it. Currently the PS4 would need 4 additional millions in sales. And even if the PS4 would outsell X1 + Wii U by 150k every single week it would still not manage to reach 50% by the end of the year.

I'm waiting for E3 before I'll make any solid predictions though.

What are your LTD predictions for the end of the year?

If it does happen, I doubt it will be this year. Q2 2015 is my guess

Let's assume ps4 will sell 2 million in december. That leaves more than 300k per week from now on to reach the 20 million at the end of the year. Seems unlikely.

Can't argue with those WiiU and X1 numbers though. No one knows how they will develop over the year.

Never, I hope. Not that I have anything against the system, but the other two would have to do pretty poorly for things to go that direction, I'd think... And I still want the Wii U to succeed (I believe in you!) for Nintendo, at least.

You are basically saying the PS4 will be sold out throughout the year.

Yields will improve, you dont think production capacity will remain the same forever right?

7-8m isnt that unthinkable, PS3 was doing 6.5m at its best, 3DS even more, next holidays will have great games.

Neither does ninty, no one gaves a shit about those games but ninty fans and half are totally irrelevent.  Onyl one that has any chance of bumping hardware for a month is Kart. 

Bayo2 will do absolutly nothing, and likely will be a sales flop its a sequal to a game that couldnt even justify a sequal just saying.  Get real on its expectations.

X will not even pass 1m in sales and ill have no effect on hardware, none really care about jrpgs these days thats just a fact of the market.  And its makers last game was awesome greatly reviewd yet flopped to 850k on wiis user base.  Dk is a side scrolling platformer, whywould that do anything ? wiiu already has plenty of those.  This being DK will not magically some how shyrocket sales.  Smash could have help, to bad its on the much more populat far better selling 3ds. 

Wiiu will not take of, even ninty fans have accpeted that already.  Unelss you mean take of to GC like sales, casue GC also had mario kart smash.

PS will continue selling as its what the market and gamers want, add 3rd party games and ill have far more games then the wiiu this year.  By the way PS4 was to stop selling after xmas sometime in jan sometime in Feb ohh now its march i guess right.

We had a thread about 6 years ago asking when the Wii would get 50% market share, and in the end it never quite did. It would be astonishing if the PS4 could do it but it is looking quite likely at this point.
