According to a recent articles MGS runs at 60 fps on both 8th gen platforms and the biggest disparity is the resolution.
So we'll have to wait and see what frame analysis videos say.

Blame Kojima... he confirmed the PS4 version runs smooth than Xbone... what makes me surprised with so low resolution.
Which of these is a screenshot for Forza on Xbox One -- and what other one is a screenshot for Need for Speed : Most Wanted on Wii U -- and which one is Driveclub on PS4?

Yeah, I recall hearing the PS4 version looks and runs much better. Now we're hearing both have similar graphics aside from the resolution and both achieve 60 fps.
So... I'm curious to see the analysis videos in the near future.

Where are you refering too? You mean with how people look in a game, textures, polygons, resolution, frame rate? Also I'm curious what
Up to now personally I'm not impressed with the current PS4 and Xbox one exclusives in terms of graphics.
But more important, personally I think gameplay is more important then graphics and up to now both Xbox and Playstation have let me down except of one game: Resogun!
On-Topic: No I don't think Xbox one graphics are closer to Wii U than it is with PS4. Xbox one is able to meet much better graphic quality than WII U and could be on par with PS4. I think nobody should compare WII U with the new gen. WII U is an other gen and is targeting other kind of quality games.

you mean the best looking pre-rendered cut scene. the gameplay itself is quite a jarring downgrade.

And i see the OP point..Becourse i also find it odd.. that One can't run the first 8. gens games as good as ps4.. and at the momement.. it look more on pair with wii-u.. yes..
but then again.. it all depends on the games.. not the hardware
Xbox One has the best looking next gen game (LocoCycle) so I think the PS4 is more comparable to the Wii U.
