well tsutaya pretty much confirms that it didn't sell like dog shit - that much is clear. I am hoping for at least 40k - not terrific but not terrible just OK. For Wii U owners the smallest win means a lot. I don't expect a massive hardware bump for wii u in Japan as well.

Well, DKCR opened at 169K with a massive install base (Galaxy 2 opened with 340K for comparison). I expect around a third of that for Tropical Freeze (55-60K).

As a Vita fan I sympathise with you... I'm thinking similar numbers for DK (actually very slightly higher), I guess you'll have to hope it does better in the west

It's actually a little better than that - SSD will actually be out on the 6th March (sorry, I was wrong), and the week before that has Deception IV and Infinite Stratos 2, whilst 2 weeks after that there's J-Star Victory Vs. then Miku the week after. Here's the sechedule, I'll edit it into the post in a second :) EDIT: Actually that'll take longer than I thought... ummm, I think I'll just leave it :)

It's still far from great, but surely there's enough stuff to keep it at say, 12k-15k while the bigger games show up?

Vita will do incredible (probably beat the 3ds 2-4 times in the upcoming weeks). It has so many games coming out in all of march and then SAO in April! I think it'll do 25k-45k every week for the entire month!

I hope it does well, but I don't see it beating the 3ds for more than maybe one week. But even if does, it doesn't mean anything unless it starts selling consistently well. Looking forward to some big announcements in the future. Still can't believe it doesn't have its own Naruto game. (yesterday I bought Powerful shippuden for 3ds).
