The theme song was (and still is) great. Misty was an obnoxious generic tsundere and I never liked her even when I was 7 years old.

I loved the show, of course. But looking back on it, MAN, it was awful. Just awful. Outstanding as a marketing strategy, I suppose.

Favourite gens considering everything:Pokemon design, main game, competitive battles, changes to the game etc:
1) 1st
2) 2nd gen & 4th gen & 6th gen
3) 3rd gen
4) 5th gen
Even though 2nd gen had the best main games I like the 4th and 6th gens just as much because of hlw they evolved competitive battles which is my fav part of Pokemon.
