Forums - Gaming - The Last of Us: Left Behind is brilliant. 10 out of 10

Naughty Dog are geniuses. What an amazing, poignant, and emotionally affecting tale told with precision and brevity. This is without question the sweetest most endearing love story ever told in a video game and Naughty Dog should be commended for their courage in telling this story of young romance. And the gall it took to release it on Valentine's Day is palpable. Some of the scenes are so touching and moving I found myself in awe of how effective a video game was. You don't even think of it being two girls just two human beings who were lucky enough to find a deep meaningful connection when the world had descended into hell. The segment Fun and Games is one of the most brilliant segments of gaming I have ever played. Not for just how creative the gameplay elements were but for how powerfully doing so effected your immersion and care for the story an characters. This two hour tour de force is a master class in how the future of gaming has limitless boundaries of posibilities through a combination of calculated gameplay and meaning storytelling. If Naughty Dog has a say video games will certainly surpass films as the medium of choice to tell visual stories. And I'm not even joking. Riley and Ellie might be my two favorite video game characters now.

also, how awesome would it be to have a water gun segment in the multiplayer or something involving angel knives. They have to expand of this ingenious segment through the online component. No doubt.

We already know Naughty Dog are geniuses.

Waiting for the definitive edition.

Yeah I enjoyed it, but was very short.

That's nice.

I wish it was longer. $15 for 2.5 hours is pretty steep.

I cannot believe Riley beat me in that water gun bit. That is unacceptable! Now I have an excuse to go play it again. Ooh, the battles were pure chaos with bandits fighting infected. I used that to my advantage. Yeah, it was short but so worth it.

Yeah, great DLC. But I never give anything 10/10. So 9/10.

Loved both water gun challenges. And happy to say I beat Riley in both, though she won round one of the one shot kills. I do think an all on all MP soakmeter water soaker match would be awesome.

I bloody lost the car window-breaking game though.

And yeah the hunter vs. infected battles are cool, especially the ones you instigate by throwing a bottle. Fun times!

Those effin' runners though, hate them.

And I only just managed to with the imaginary fighting game. I was never any good at fighting games, and this just proved it.

Indeed great DLC, although I wouldn't give it a 10, it was way too short T.T

The Last Of Us is definitely one of my favorite games but I haven't bought this dlc yet. Should I get it or should I pass on this dlc. Is the backstory worth it?
