Most popular as of right now would be 360/3DS in the US. As of all time it would be DS and PS2.

PlayStation consoles and portables

Was PS1, PS2, PS3. Now, PS4. This is Israel after all.

Well i can talk about Portugal.

Its the Playstation and all its iterations. Nintendo and Microsoft get a tiny shelf space in comparison.

When you play a home console, the common term is/was 'Playstation', when you play a handheld, the common term is/was 'Nintendo'. Take that as you will. (UK)

Here in the Netherlands:

Playstation is ruling in the game consoles
Ninento in handheld consoles

In the PS3/Xbox360 gen these two where on par.
The WII was popular to have, but I don't know anyone who has more than 5 games for it.

Here in Latvia I was going to say Playstation, but then I checked the 'national' ads site and this is what it shows in the games and consoles section:

So the Sony consoles combined are winners, but if we talk a single console then apparently it could be that Xbox 360 has a slight edge over PS3.

Some people will find it surprising, but that´s due to the excessive prices of PS4 and XboxOne. Even in the gray market they are more expensive than the official WiiU.  The 8th generation will take a while to really catch up in the country.

3DS is selling a lot right now. I often get 5-8 streetpasses every day in Sao Paulo subway trains.
