Destiny is a better candidate for that title.
Titanfall lacks so many features, I don't consider it compelling anymore.
I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

This might be a quality shooter...... On the PC platform.
Watch the gameplay on this. It's simply way too twitch based to be truly successfully/fun on console in my opinion. Reminds me of an Unreal Tournament type of game. Shooters on consoles, work far better as a more tactical plodding type.
Not saying it can't be fun, but is nothing revolutionary or something that will take xbox one to its limits.

You people only seeing resolution as some kind of quality measurement are becoming an ever so small group of people :).

mm, considering this Titanfall could be just Time exclusive, and also available for 360(very close to the XOne version) and on PC(the best version), I would say this will never be a system seller, and not a reason to buy an XBox One, my opinion.
This thread is exactly the reason why the game gets downplayed. If the game truly is revolutionary then let the game speak for itself rather then the op and media cram it down our throats and told to like it. Just let it happen on it's own merits rather than a peg or number on an "exclusive" hype list..

It will take years before taking PS4 or XOne to their limits, though XOne limits are not very high...
^That's not what I wanted to point out. Rather, that it is far from being the most impressive shooter of the next-gen.

How can you put a nail in something that doesn't even exist yet? Last I checked, last 2 weeks, PS4 sold just about as many units in the US as the XBone did WW. Doesn't exactly cry iminent death for the system, considering that a game like inFamous is getting a lot of attention and doing almost as well as Titanfall (XBone) in the US despite far less media hype. Kindof says a lot when you look at the genre differences. Sure, TF will probably put the XBone on par with PS4 in the US or maybe slightly better, but once the release hype dies, what does XBone have left coming out for the rest of the year that is genuine attention? Quantum Break? I don't recall Alan Wake exactly being a system seller. Halo 2 AE? Halo 1 AE did greeaaat... PS4 still has DriveClub, The Order, MLB 14, and much more to keep it's momentum in 2014, and after that the SWS games will be pouring out at that point so MS's biggest exclusives will matter little. Xbone has little to momentum for the rest of the year.
Oh, and there's still that really big chance of Titanfall 2 and all other potential sequels coming to PS4 (followed by the original eventually) down the road, especially it doesn't do so great on the XBone. Let's not forget that.
