It has a lot of potential and respectable specs for the 400$ pricepoint.

...games side falls falt on it´s face (right now) when you compare it to Vita/ 3DS / even WiiU , that is true, but it will be a great purchase Fall 2014, mid 2015.

Still a better launch than the Vita / 3DS / Wii U.

Assassin's Creed IV is worth the purchase of either of the more expensive consoles alone, Tomb Raider as well if you skipped it originally, and NFS: Rivals is a surprising amount of fun.

Of course, I've been playing all three on PC so I'm good on skipping the consoles for a while, but I definitely get why it's in demand. I owned a Wii U for a while, the games were okay but surprisingly little has changed in the first party titles from their previous iterations, 3rd party titles were pretty terrible on it as well.

...that is a negative point for you after you praised annual sequels like Assassins Creed 4 and NFS: Rivals as " worth the purchase of either of the more expensive consoles alone" ?

LMAo at your tears.Multi-plats sell more systems thene exclusives. Game slike destiny will move systems, and sony has a lot of AAA games this year. it's a better product for 100 less. Most people don't even know about MS or at the reveal now.  Ps4 has a better lineup right now. At least indies flesh out an early launch console MS is not releasing anything on x1 (Outlast is the best console game in feb). Sony did everything right and made a product people want thats the goal no?

If you want most games for best value, then get a PS3 with PS+. If you want the gaming system best designed for 8th gen games, get the PS4.

Don't try to suggest that the Wii U has more games or brighter future for games.

Some people cares more about the stats than the experience/gameplay... PS4 is more powerful on paper, so even if the games experience is the same Xbox One or if it has more games, a lot of people will go for the stats.


unfortunately, the game experience is not the same on the xbox one.. and is NOTICEBLY an INFERIOR experience..

and it is also 100 DOLLARS MORE for a camera.. when KINECT was not the main selling point of the XBOX 360, but microsoft wants to shove a motion camera down ppls throats like nintendo did with motion gaming.. 

if it were about the stats.. the ps4 would win.. if it were about the xperience or gameplay.. the ps4 would win.. and it's 100 dollars cheaper.. I actually don't understand why anyone would get an xbox over a ps4.. unless they are a huge microsoft/halo/gears fan.. otherwise.. every other game is also on ps4.. and better on ps4..

Some people are using their game system as more than just another more powerful game system(PS4).  They are using it for a media hub or because they have a number of other M$ products and like to have the unifed OS feeling.  Even though the Kinect is of no use to you, I use it regularly and find it to be just the opposite.  The only thing that the PS4 has on the XB1 is a minor power difference.  If you think that 1080p is the whole world, then the PS4 is good for now.  2 years from now, the only way the PS4 is still doing 1080p on new games is if the developers choose to gimp the games to achieve that.  So, PS4 owners will need to get used to it anyway too.  If the $100 is a reason, then you shouldn't be buying a next gen system at all. 


That statement about the 2 year 1080p game gimping is completely inaccurate, and I will accept some sort of VGChartz bet based around your statement.  You want to come up with it or shall I?


You are right.  There is no 2 years.  They are gimping releases right now.  The multi plats already don't all achieve 1080p/60fps.  So, when next years versions come out, they will have to be gimped to reach 1080p/60fps.  How could you think otherwise?


You do realize you're writing about a problem the XB1 has, yet trying to say the PS4 has it which makes PS4 bad right?  As I said before do you want to make up a bet about your statement or should I?

I own both because I like the TV integration on X1.  Ryse was an absolutely terrible game that I wish I hadn't spent the time to playthrough even once.  Forza isn't as fun as NFS Rivals.  If you think X1 is better hey that's fine, but in 7 years if you never played PS4 we will see who played the better games and had the better experience.  Even die hard 360 fans admit PS3 exclusives completely destroy MS.  Graphics and gameplay quality.  The only people who disagree with this don't own Sony products.  The only thing 360 ever had that I loved that Sony didn't, was Halo and Trials.  Those were great games.  Even the online services are the same now on last gen systems as PSN vastly improved over the last 2 years of PS3's life.  Online services on this new gen...Unless MS is somehow going to make the CLOUD promise come true, will be exactly the same.  Oh yeah Virtual server clusters are not the same thing as "300,000 dedicated server cloud".  10K hosts with 30K VM's is not going to do what was promised, but hey if MS can pull it off, awesome.  That could be the one and only thing that make it a better console.  But one could even speculate that this offloaded processing power would simply attempt to maybe close the gap that is already existing due to the PS4's better, cheaper hardware.

I play a hell of a lot more PS4 then wiiu, on the games side PS4 is the only 8th gen console worth getting at this time.

not when you have a working PS3 and can live with the worse resolution and framerate.

The WiiU has some good exclusives that aren´t on everything else.

The same for Vita and 3DS.

I still play ps3, but its a bitch going backwards.  Playing a shooter on PS3 after KillzoneSF is fucking rough, PS3 is like a old porn star after you just railed a 18 yearold.  One can tale the difference.
