They'll be the High Voltage Software of this generation, trying to capitalize on the lack of devs devoting resources to the Wii U.

Their intentions are good and, they are kind of clever, playing the good guy who sides the victim of the entire bullying of the school. However, this is no different than an indie dev making a game on the Wii U, so it won't be the next big thing every Wii U owner dreams of and no, it won't matter or make a difference.

This is basically free good publicity for them, they might make a game that people would buy just because they feel will be supporting a good cause. Meanwhile the "bullies" keep pumping AAA games that no WiiU-only owner will get to play.

I got the Mass Effect and Rayman references, but he clearly mentions 3

1-How about a publisher releasing one game from a series on the Wii U for $60, but selling the entire series in a bundle on other consoles for the same price as the Wii U's single game version? => Mass Effect 3

2-And how about one publisher releasing the exact same game on all consoles at the same time, but pricing the Wii U version nearly 70% more than the other versions? => ???

3-Or, now even a more recent example, delaying only the Wii U version of a game that was already previously announced; despite the publisher doing exactly the opposite with a certain Wii U game in 2013? => Rayman Legends

Can't be. The article says release the same game at the same time across all consoles with Wii U version being 70% more. ME3 vs. trilogy isn't the same game. And ME3 came out on last gen consoles and PC well before Wii U version. Stupid of EA to only release ME3 for Wii U in any case.
