You didn't really just take this piece of bullshit PR to prove a point, did you? The fastest? How? As far as I remember Sony sold over 1mil PS4 in NA in 24 hours, how long did it take the X1 to reach that number again?

Ps4 outsold the xbox one in the countires both were released and price was a big factor for that outcome.

Probably overall but i was talking about monthly. Consoles have sales that help them sale more. Black friday is an example. They are not always sold at their regular price point. 

My point was the PS4 consistently outsold the 360 at a higher price, so it's not an excuse for the X1. The 360 had a several million unit lead, of course it took the PS3 a while to surpass it. Also, i was speaking globally not a single region I've already established as pointless to debate.

Indeed quality over quantity. I did a big thread on the topic a while ago and the end result was the PS3 had both more quantity and quality. If that is the way in which you measure the worth of a console then you either have to discard your own logic or see the PS3 as the better console ^^

Price differences only matter for those who cannot afford the higher price, or do not see that higher price as worth it. The base model of the 360 and PS3 may be the same now, but for those who cannot afford that price point theere are cheaper version of the 360, but not the PS3.

If they released a Kinect-less model they will anger everyone who bought it despite the product. The damage is done either way.

You still haven't answered my question :) Price is obviously not a majorly influential factor past the obvious levels, as the PS3 overcame it and so did the PS1, so once they are both released everywhere will the X1 outsell the PS4? Your entire argument leads to that conclusion, but are you willing to back that up yourself? Willing to bet on it? Or is your argument built more on bias than actual logic? ^^ Alternatively you could call the Kinect a shitty product, that would fill in the holes of your logic just as well.

Sony obviously had less consoles to ship to each country since they released in more countries. 

Sorry to burst your bubble but last gen consoles are dead and old. We want new hardware. Xbox one has been outselling the ps3 so it works both ways. ps4 outsold the 360 and xbox one outsold the ps3. Why? Because they are old hardware. 

That is just an opionion on your part. I did like some (few) ps3 exclusives but i perfered most xbox 360 exclusives. Again that is just a personal preference. That shoots down your point. 

A kinect less SKU would piss people off but thats how gadgets work. Technology advanced quickly, very quickly. If you buy a phone and not expect a newer version to appear a few months later than you simply dont understand how technology works. 

Dude... NPD tracks the US, not the whole world. MS sold 1 million in 24h in 13 countries, Sony sold 1 million in 24h in NA alone, that should clearly show who sold their consoles faster in the US, if that's not enough for, then just look at vgchartz numbers.

That "fastest selling console" was nothing but a pathetic attempt at PR spin, they just took the numbers they sold in the US in November and divided them with the number of days the X1 had been on the market, to arrive at some weird average consoles sold per day number, which they then used to declare that they were the fastest. This makes no sense though since most PS4s and X1s were sold on launch day and black friday and not evenly over every day.

The fact is right up there ^^ but you just ignore it or dont believe it. That is not my problem.

It doesn't shoot down my point because mine was not based on opinion or preference. The thread i did was based on the critic reception of games and number of said games.
