What are you plotting here? Certainly not the weekly vgc numbers so what is it?

In total PS4 is still way ahead of even the Wii though. Also PS4 might be undertracked, we will know in less then a day when Sony releases the numbers.

The PS3 has been selling more than the 360 at a higher price for years.
The earlier launch was far too insignificant to matter much.
It did launch it more countries, but it's also beating the X1 in pretty much every country they are both out in. The PS4 also still has Japan up it's sleeve, something the X1 isn't likely to benefit much from, and the PS4 has also been constantly hit by supply issues.
Anything else you want to add? ^^

Thanks! Are you planning on making these for the coming months as well?
And guys, I think he knows the different factors that come into play with each consoles sales. He's just stating a fact so there's no need to jump all over it since I'm sure they are meant to be simple observations, not the "haha, 360 is doing better than the X1" meaning many of you seem to have gotten from it.

I was thinking that too. The jump would have been odd enough as a singular event, but it kept it up over 2 weeks.

You should label the axis to avoid misinterpretation I believe horizontal is week in Jan 2014 and vertical is number sold (is that correct ?)

It outsold it at the end of the generation.....it took 8 years...
Ps4 is beating the xbox one is the US because of the price. It launched worldwide so supply issues should be high obviously. More countries means less consoles shipped to each country. Microsoft launched in only 13 so that gave them more supply for each country. It isn't rocket science.
Ps3 had alot more exclusives over it's lifetime than xbox 360. People buy consoles to play exclusive games. That alone gave sony the advantage to sell more consoles than microsoft.
I will await your replay..
You should take everything else out besides the PS4 and Xbone. Then plot the graph so that it's in increments of 10,000 so that it looks like the PS4 is really blowing Xbone off the chartz.
