No co-op? Oh well. Maybe they'll have some sort of separate multiplayer mode.

Not every game needs multiplayer.

It's doesn't NEED it but it helps add longevity to the game. I didn't think TLOU needed a multiplayer component but I ended up having a lot of fun with it, and it kept me playing for a lot longer.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Some games are not made for multiplayer if developers think that doesnt fit to their game vision, like Bioshock, it doesnt prevent these games to possibly become a master piece .

There are  already so many games made for that and enough games coming to not starve, no need to include MP in every shooter  ;)

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

Finally PS4 can have its own Ryse.

No really, the more I hear or see about this game the more it seems like a short, linear and very scripted experience with minimum freedom but pretty pixels.

Keep on dreaming!

We'll have more information about this game after the february 16th, as that's the date on which the game press can finally begin revealing details.

I hope you're right.

But the focus on a "ciematic experience" is never a good sign for me.

Well it was not half in The Last Of Us, i love cinematic experiences.. It doesn't always mean way over the top scripted, unless we're talking about David Cage :P

TLOU is of course the best and one of the very few examples that were done right. It was very linear and scripted but the writing was epic and the gameplay was non-linear.

But that was a once in a generation thing. I won't get my hopes up before first reviews or at least some actual gameplay.

Really want to see some gameplay soon this game really sounds amazing only disappointed that theirs no co-op but that's a minor problem.

Yeah, that's for sure. I always await reviews anyways so i won't blindly purchase the game. But so far it's looking very good. I'm getting a (Nightmare Creatures) vibe from it. Anyone remember that game?

Good, I honestly can't stand co-op. Makes story telling moot.

Yep, co-op is not good for story telling game and also RAD wants to focus more on the single player experience instead of runing with multi players which will break the story telling/immersion beacuse multiplayer/co-op is meant for only for fun rather than for story and immersion. They want us to immerse inside their world and feel the game wih story and real world simulation in gameplay.

GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.
