There are a lot of "what ifs".

What if Nintendo talked Microsoft out of releasing their own console, agreed to let MS make GameCube/Windows set top box (which would've quietly flopped) and let MS stake them in the game business with games like Halo?

What if the GameCube came out in 2000 with Majora's Mask and Perfect Dark as launch titles?

No. It needs to be $250 at launch, but since it has to be that way it will be sold at a loss.
