Agreed. For me having both games,, i would say that Killzone has bettre environment  graphics while Ryse has better character models, aniamtion  and particle effects then Killzone. In saying taht both games are best looking next gen games so far.


Ryse is a very limited game though. Much smaller environments. Less than 70% of the pixels that KZ:SF has. Framerate is between 26-28 compared to KZ:SF's 30-40.


Have you played ryse? lol.   The area you get to explore is pretty big. i know i have read themall. however the videos that df puts doesnot show for teh entire game. Its just sections of it.. I played through both ruyse and killzone and i experienced no lag for ryse whil ei was in controller of teh character.  D3 only has lag when you have thousands of zombies in area an dtonnes of car and you blow all of them up in one go. The patch for D3 on launch day really helps. The games is mostly smooth until you have that situation. Its not bad considering its a hige open world with thousands upon thousands of zombies with zero loading time. Itstruly great an dfun to play. It doesn't matter if its 900p or 1080p ,, even at 900p ryse is touted as bets looking game for next gen. For me ryse and killzone are tie for best llooking next gen as both hav etheir iwn strenghts an dweakness.  The thing is have you plaeyd ryse? Just want ot know.

Nope, I don't have Xbox one and not interesetd in this game also. Even I don't like Killzone because its FPS game type which i hate. I like mostly third person, story orietned, adveture/platform games etc., which are short/sweet which doesn't cost more time from my life and hate FPS/RPG.



GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.

If both games runs in 30fps all the time the 1080p have exactly 40% more pixels than 900p but one runs at max 30fps and other at minimum 30fps... so If Killzone runs at 40fps avg then Killzone renders 90% more pixels than Ryse.

You need to understand Ryse renders maximum of 43,200,000 pixels per second... Killzone at 40fps is rendering over 90,000,000 pixels per second.

Our friend is being way generous with Ryse with these 70%.

PS. And all the awards fans said Ryse will won in 2013 for its graphics? I'm waiting.

Its easy  for people to say that without proving the links . since us gamers haven't seen one footage of this game ,, i will hold it with a grain of salt till embargo is lifted and they show actual in game shot. if its true then yay for ps4 owners,, me included.. us gamers have got burned before with the likes of killzone 2, aliens colonial marines to name a few.

Killzone was not even mentioned on the list. that says it all. sadly have no idea how tlou could win the graphics award when games like ryse and ac4 surpasses it by a mile.

TLOU is more technically advanced than both games you cited and more demanding too.

TLOU: 1280 x 720 x 60 = 55,296,000

You have no idea how is easy to a GPU run a game in 900p@30fps... a 720p@60fps game is more demanding than Ryse to GPU.

Thhanks for demonstrating the ability to do google search lol.  i was asking ethomaz to provide proof of his 90,0000 pixels per swecond hwich apparently killzone produces . I have played and own ryse and i have never seen teh game ever drop to 16. heck i have never experience a drop in frame rate during gameplay. i had a  very smooth experience from start to finish. only one very minor hiccup during a cutscene which was rare.

i am serious.. i want see the proof of how its calculated . i its a general way of calculating pixels as you have done the above,, then providing proof is easy enough right? heck if GG have said it ,, then show me that proof. TLOU was a good looking game but ihighly doubt the decision is based on magical numbers mentioned above. it was good looking but def not a visual masterpiece lol.  You claim KZ is a better looking game then ryse,, yet acording to dice awards kz was not even a contender.  . i thought it was way more demanding based on your figures right? you can't claim something without providing proof  to back up your claims. repetition of the same info without wanting to prrovide proof is a form of trolling which if i am not mistaken is against forum rukes here right?

1920 x 1080 x 40 = 82,944,000 pixels being processed per second but Killzone avg. is bigger than 40fps so I said over 90m.
