15% increse trend with virtually no game released is cool

I hope it is 30% up YoY before 2015 reaches us

If it goes up to 30% percent then it could reach 10 million before 2015...

Actually if it ends 30% up YoY that would put it a little short of 10 million.

2013-3.23 million, LTD-5.48 million

2014-4.2 million, LTD-9.68 million

But personally I think up 50% YoY is a possibility putting it at 2014-4.85 million and LTD-10.33 million.

I know... Just rough estimation...

100% is possible 2.  most of the summer we will see up 100%+ YOY.   u have to be out of ur mind if u think the wii u with mk would sell
lss thn 30k in june...

Who said anything about 30k in June?

look whats up 30%YOY mean in the summer weeks. no way the wii u will sell so bad this year.

I expect 25to 100% YOY increases in Q2 depending on week and releases... Q3 and Q4 are going to have for sure 50 to 100% YOY increase... Bunch of exclusives...

It doesnt mean each individual month. For example May/June up YoY with March/April or Sept/Oct down YoY cancelling it out. I dont think that would happen but up 30% YoY doesnt mean consistantly throughout the year.

January last year was 57k in US, this year VGC has 109k? Why the 100% YoY increase?

Down 38k YOY in Japan, it's possible that WiiU is down WW as well.

I assume WW is World Wide.... This thread compares 2013 with 2014 World Wide/Global sales of the Wii U... Week 1 to Week 5 of 2014 is 14.3+ % up from Week 1 to Week 5 of 2013.

Yes it is, and I think it's overtracked. I don't see any reason WiiU would be up in US (and Europe for that matter) so much YoY. NPD is this Thursday so we'll find out.

You make me laugh... Oh boy... You are one of those narrow minded individuals...

Why it would't? It has now a well enstablished library of games, a lot of exclusives are out now and more are coming this year...

I guess you forgot Super Mario 3D World got released in November and games from Nintendo have "long legs"...

I smell denial...

Lower price of entry, $299 with no games last year vs $299 with 2 games and 4x storage in 2014. Increased library of games, Lego City, Monster Hunter, Pikmin, Wind Waker, Mario 3D World, Wii Party U are just some of the notable releases since this time last year. Also historically America is by far Nintendo's strongest market. NES, N64, GC all had over 50% of worldwide sales.
