Heck my mum knew about PS4 and Xbox one quite well based on what she read on the newspaper . That should tell you something already

Ironic, just a year ago people were saying the ps4 didnt have any real world hype because no coverage in the media. Hm, imagine that.

Well where i reside ,, both consoles were mention on the newspaper and the evening news and even on fb. Those people are lying as clearly shown by my mom an dmany others liek my mom.

Lol, yet... people blame ignorance for Wii Us sales. People think its just an add on (nintendo even admits they havent distinguished it)... but naw, according to you people outside of forums are super knowledgable. 

The Xbox One has won the launch in my dormotory. Thats a fact but its mostly because most of the people at my dorm like fun and competitive games. Plain and simple, that was the reason. No matter which way you slice it that is subjective.

That is subjective but the post you quoted had to do with launch territories. Forgive me if you caused confusion. As for your dorm (you finally respond directly to me and we can avoid the people who have absolutely nothing to input here finally), your telling me that not one person in your dorm would like to play a sports game or have better versions of the game? You say competitive games but act like Ps4 wont have any when it is outpacing the XB1 already. Your telling me no one would be interested in the free ps+ games. 

No one said the PS4 didn't have anything. Exclusive wise Killer Instinct is a hot game right now and people are chomping at the bit to play it. In fact like ten people are in my room right now playing it.

I never said somebdyo body said that. But right now (even you admit future titles werent discussed in the OP) you guys are basing your judgement on a handful of games. Hell, titanfall wasnt even discussed. But as this forum discussed numerous times before either console launched that launch games are terrible to look at to make a decision (on both side. so its kinda ironic now people are saying its perfectly fine to base a decision on launch titles). to be fair with this you need to weigh pros and cons of each console which you clearly havent done because you admit in ignoring titanfall ( a pro to the xb1)

That shit is fire. I can see why they are hyped and with Spinal just being revealed to. I know why they think they would have a blast playing on the One(despite the people who are mad that they are)

I'm genuinely curious as to why so many of your dormmates feel as if they need a new console at launch. Isn't it the worst time to purchase a console? Especially since consoles tend to be more of a long-term investment.
