I was thinking lately that Nintendo could follow the way of Microsoft and Sony and charge for their network.Besides the obvious complaints from die hard fans it could lead them to many positive results in the long run.How about free games every month?Check.More sales and deals?Check.More interest from third party developers.Check.Bigger and better ways to advertise.Check.An easy and greedy way to earn money.Check too.So what do you think about it?Is this a way Nintendo should follow?What would your gut reaction be?Is this a direction they must-should follow?

Nintendo is finally improving their online service? Sweet. Maybe we'll actually get a decent account system and virtual console this time around.

i'd like it if it was optional, like PS Plus WAS :/

I'd be upset. Heck I've been a PS+ member for over a year and loved it but I was still upset when multiplayer was pushed behind a pay wall.

If it was optional, that would be great.

So we'd pay $50 a year for online that we can't use?

Third party games have either no online or no one on the servers, and first party games have local multiplayer only.

Maybe they could serve it as optional in the start and make it mandatory later.Like some other well known company did..

Free games? When people are happy if Wii U get a game at all...

The only thing that would be interesting is a 50$ a year for the possibility of playing any VC game you want..

Welp, I don't need online multiplayer anyway... Steam is good enough lol
