Do they comment on Watch Dogs for PS4 or XBox One?

Yeah, they even have lots of videos from those versions (especially PS4)

Which is probably what's going on here. Either Sony is paying Ubisoft to put focus on the PS4 version, or Ubisoft themselves are trying to play up those versions because this is their big bet going into the 8th generation and they want to focus on the versions with the most bells and whistles.

Or, the game is just too ambitious , last year, we heard they had problem with Wii U version.

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

This means Nintendo needs to pay for it or its not happening. Forget it. I following Rol and only buying Nintendo published games.

Well, you do realize that by only buying Nintendo's games, you're pretty much proving the point that Nintendo gamers don't buy 3rd party games, therefore why should 3rd parties devote money and resources to developing for Nintendo consoles?

And if I were weighing the options of whether or not my company should release a big game on a console that is not only selling poorly at the moment but whose audience will largely ignore my game anyway no matter how much time and effort I put into it, then you're darn right I'm going to want some financial guarantees for me to make it happen.  Companies like Ubisoft aren't running charities.

i wouldnt bother, if some "gamers" and yes i am using that term loosely want to miss out on games out of butthurt, they only hurt themselves

your statement is partially wrong.

They hurting themselves and OTHERS who really enjoy games for games that can afford only one system.

On a side note, this also has the potential to get worst for those who buy other consoles to compensated te lack of 3rd party on Nintendo. Imagine if Microsoft and Sony both had DRM implemented and your dead against it. You would have to either ignore the games and miss out completely or accept DRM and hope you can enjoy these games later when the gen ends and thr DRM check server is no longer running.

Everyone here im assuming is an adult. I dont buy the fact that you can only afford one console, not if you have a steady form of employment. Especially in superchunk's case. You mean to tell me within the 5-6 years of any given console cycle a working adult could only afford ONE gaming machine? I dont buy it. Especially when it comes to Ninty we pretty much KNOW how its going to go down at this point. So for better or worst you're buying a second system or you are missing out, its that simple.

THe DRM is not a good argument because it didnt come to fruition. Personally i would have just quit gaming and continued with older systems.

Nintendo and its "I only buy Nintendo games" fans should be mighty proud right about now. Way to bring a system with so much potential crashing down in flames.

Nintendo fans used to buy a fairly wide variety of games, unfortunately that chunk of the Nintendo fanbase eroded in the GameCube days and went to Sony/MS and never came back. But things like Wave Race 64, 1080, Star Fox 64, Killer Instinct, Turok 1/2, GoldenEye, NBA Courtside, Star Wars, even South Park 64 would sell great on the N64.

But that audience splintered away from Nintendo, now all Nintendo is left with are Mario/Mario Kart/Pokemon/Zelda fanatics that don't buy anything else but a few Nintendo franchises.

Even Nintendo themselves have a lot of trouble selling things like Pikmin and Wonderful 101 and Xenoblade to this crowd ... they don't give a crap about anything unless Mario or Link or Pikachu are on the box. And even Zelda can sometimes be an iffy proposition.

you also have to remember just about ALL of the Japanese publishers and devs packed their crap and left Ninty in the N64 days and if they did give Ninty something it was later than PS1. To me that had the biggest impact of them all.

The amount of whining and bitching and crying on this site never, ever ceases to amaze me.  What a bunch of blat asses and cry babies living on the interwebs some of you are.

All this persecution and backlash, over a tweet that says absolutely nothing, towards a company that has been consistently releasing quality product for a system that it's "fans" don't even appreciate.  How rediculous.

The "I bought x and y games from Ubisoft and if they don't release Watch dogs i'm going to sell those games!" people.  Yeah, you go gf!  That will really show Ubi who's boss, or at least that you're a whiny little bitch...with no games to play I might add.

The "Ubisoft keeps boning us and delivering half assed games etc, I'm so done with them." people.  Who else has been carrying the torch and delivering as many quality games for you to play like Ubisoft has?  Rayman, ACIII and IV, Splinter Cell are triple A titles and mark my words, Watch dogs is coming...not too mention Zombi being an inventive and solid effort and all the somewhat lesser titles released so far.  Ubi is doing their fair share and then some, who else is?  Not even Ninty have the number of big quality titles like that out, and it's their system for pete's sake.  Get over yourselves and cut Ubi some slack.

The "I was gonna buy a Wii U but waiting on x or y game", or "I won't now if x or y game doesn't release" people.  Stop, stop, stop!  Just stop the bs...please.  You are just spouting nonsense.  If you have the money then Shit or get off the pot, or admit that your folks just haven't said yes to buying it for you yet.  For goodness sake, I can't take it.

I could go on and on with these rediculous statements and scenarios, the jumping to conclusions over rumor and speculation and no facts, the constant doom and gloom against the system(s) that aren't the one that person sleeps with at night.  Here's a hint...that company doesn't love you back, get a life.  The whining and crying all day long.  It's nonsense.  Cry me a damned river.  How about dropping vid games altogether, and take up a hobby that doesn't butthurt you so much.  Better steer clear of mtn biking or even fishing.  Maybe knitting and crochet is more your style.

I don't even know why I waste my time on this site and view these forums.  !0:30 in the morning and I'm already thinking about a drink to take the edge off after reading all the nonsense this site and the internet gaming culture as a whole has to offer.

/facepalm

This, agree with you in everything. The gaming community is really f*cked up

If I'm Nintendo I would pay for the port, but only if the Wii U version takes advantage of the controller and gets some exclusive content.

My guess though is Iwata will say no. Nintendo is cheap and probably doesn't want to set a precedent that third parties can strong arm them into paying for ports. If Ubi Soft was Japanese and could talk it over a few rounds of sake, maybe, but Nintendo don't roll like that with Western studios.

that attitude is partily why they are where they at now. Its prideful, stupid and a little selfish. They are only screwing their consumers. Hell they might as well send out gift cards to WIi U owners toward the purchase of another system if they dont have one already. Its almost the same damn thing. They are saying we are NOT going to do what we can to get games on systems.

LMAO, you just want to believe that so bad, but im going to give you the benefit of the doubt and say you dont really believe that, but you want to so bad. If you think SOny or MS would pay to downplay the Wii u version. a version that is going to sell the worst of the platforms ANYWAY then you have really fallen out the tree. Both those guys are getting the game on two of their platforms.

NOw what probably happned, and more likely is that SOny probably gave Ubi some incentives to really showcase the game on PS4 and had stuff like exclusive content on their, but they've both done crap like that for years. Ninty is a non factor in this area.

That is not what I said at all. I said that Ubisoft themselves (of their own volition) are downplaying the Wii U version because they want to shine a spotlight on the others. I was not suggesting that Sony was bribing them to downplay the Wii U version (Sony's money would go towards playing up the PS4 version, which is happening.)

I had heard the opposite, that the Wii U version was running on the same engine as the 4-One version (just downscaled).

Anyway, the game is on PS3 and 360, so that is categorically impossible.

Not so impossible, we heard from many develops that developping on Wii U was not an easy task and a loss of time, and developpers are well used to PS3 and 360 now, not the same thing.
