Which second or third party developer would you like to be part of the PS first party family?

From Software (Demon’s Souls) 15 17.65%

Housemarque (Dead Nation, Resogun) 5 5.88%

Insomniac Games (Ratchet ... 9 10.59%

Level-5 (Dark Cloud, Ni no Kuni) 17 20.00%

United Front Games (ModNa... 3 3.53%

Other (please tell which and why) 4 4.71%

Total:83

Maybe what you want the most is a reestablishment of internal teams like the team at Japan Studios developing The Legend of Dragoon and Arc the Lad, Studio Liverpool developing Wipeout and Destruction Derby, the team at London Studio developing The Getaway or maybe want to see San Diego Studio’s take on the Jet Moto IP.

But if you should pick a second or third party developer that you would like to see becoming a first party developer on the PlayStation which one would it be and why?

"Other" could be:

Clap Hanz (Everybody’s Golf)

Double Eleven (Frozen Synapse: Tactics)

Firesprite (spiritual successor to Studio Liverpool and Wipeout)

Fun Bits (Escape Plan)

Giant Sparrow (The Unfinished Swan)

Hello Games (Joe Danger, No Man’s Sky)

Idol Minds (Pain)

Media.Vision (Wild Arms)

Novarama (Invizimals)

Ovosonico (Murasaki Baby)

Plastic Games (Datura)

Q-Games (PixelJunk)

SOF Studios (H-Hour: World’s Elite spiritual successor to SOCOM)

Supermassive Games (Until Dawn)

Tarsier Studios (The City of Metronome, LittleBigPlanet Vita)

ThatGameCompany (Flower, Journey)

The Workshop (Sorcery)

Zindagi Games (Sports Champions)

etc.

FROM, even if that is not at all likely... in fact, extremely unlikely.

While the games are frequently a mixed bag on many accounts, they've always nailed awesome gameplay in my eyes. Runner up, Housemarque.

Does it have to be developers that once developed exclusively for the PS3? Also does it have to be realistic?

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Sony will probably buy Ready at Dawn next. They were hinting at it earlier. I could also see them purchasing Sanzaru and Housemarque.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

No to both ;)

I think this is quite likely to happen. Supposedly Ready at Dawn already has a permanent area in Santa Monica's new building.

Sanzaru would be an awesome addition to the family. The more quality platformers the better!

I don't really like the idea of first parties acquiring third parties. The only one I can think of would be thatgamecompany, because they have yet to deliver a game anywhere near on time or budget and I doubt that a third party publisher will be as patient with them as Sony has been.

Square Enix it is. Just a perfect match.

Shh! Let's pretend it isn't :D

Housemarque would be nice. It can't be long before they announce Dead Nation 2 for PS4..
