Mine have to be these:

these 2 games took the awesome story of DBZ and adapted it into 2 incredible RPGs, they don't make 'em like these anymore!

(FTR, i think these games are waaaaaaaaaaaaaay underrated and overlooked)

The Adventures of Batman and Robin for the SNES.

Pokeman.

IMO, not only one of the best movie tie-ins, but also one of the best FPS in last 15 years.



Another great tie-in, and superb P&C Adventure on its own.




Other than that, Disney's Alladin and Toy Story 3 come to mind in kids friendly category.

Legacy of Goku II and Budokai Tenkaichi 3 are both fucking amazing games. Also, Duelists of the Roses is quite possibly the best strategy game (if you can even call it that) ever made as far as I'm concerned. Spiderman 2 is pretty great also. And the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm games are very fun. Plus there's Telltale's stuff.

There's actually a surprisingly large number of great videogame adaptations.

Batman Returns was pretty awesome. That was back when Konami was a good company and actually cared about the quality of their games.

I second Pokemon Yellow. That's if a television show based off of a video game, can be adapted into a video game.
