How do I go about investing into some stocks? I am very curious. I have no idea how it works but have always been curious.

Me I don't own any stocks. Just some bonds, have to build up into stocks, as i want to have some solid more stable investments. If you know what stocks you want to buy, really probably one of the internet sites would be the way to go.
It is worth noting the stock market is hitting some struggles due to emerging market concerns and stimulus pullback. So it may be a good time to buy in... or things may drop further... and then it may be a good time to buy in. Things may be a little volatile for a while,
I own stocks. I work for Southern Company and when I got trained, a guy told me to invest 5% (or something like that) in stocks. I can't even remember the process I went through. I chose our company stock and a few others that had cool sounding names like Black Rock. Now, whenever I'm in a pinch, I just call Meryl Lynch and say "I need like $2000" and the lady will sell my stocks until it reaches the dollar amount that I want. I do absolutely no work and I'd like to invest in other stuff like Nintendo but I never actually made an effort.

how did you go about getting into the field? how much was your first investment any advice for noobs?

Yeah, i was thinking about free to enter business model, and then charging people when they want out again.

Be careful who you trust with your money. I would buy precious metals and gems. It really depends on how much you have to invest.

I literally have zero advice to give. An older guy that trained me said to make sure I put a certain amount in 401k because the company will pay whatever I pay up to a certain amount, basically doubling my money. He told me to invest in company stock which I did. He told me a few other things and that's what I did. Worked out great for me but I really have no idea what I'm doing.
