I own stocks. I work for Southern Company and when I got trained, a guy told me to invest 5% (or something like that) in stocks. I can't even remember the process I went through. I chose our company stock and a few others that had cool sounding names like Black Rock. Now, whenever I'm in a pinch, I just call Meryl Lynch and say "I need like $2000" and the lady will sell my stocks until it reaches the dollar amount that I want. I do absolutely no work and I'd like to invest in other stuff like Nintendo but I never actually made an effort.
