Believe me, when there's money involved, they'll know how to keep a secret.

I'd calm down on the holy crusade of proving the Wii more powerful than the Xbox. You're trying to prove one idiot wrong in a land where everyone already knows you're right. It's well documented that Wii is more powerful. The problem is the doubters are looking at the end of the Xbox's lifecycle for proof, with games like Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and Doom 3, while we're still in the beginning of the Wii's cycle. There's the added kick in the nuts from the plethora of lazy developers that prey on the Wii to dump their worst creations, ports, shovelware and gaming abortions, which just make the Wii look like a really early PS2, sometimes worse. Give it time, and the proof will be in the pudding. Luckily, THQ has already advanced the Wii past even the most hardened N-hater's wildest expectations of graphical ability with Deadly Creatures.
Nintendo has said before the wii is 1.5-2x more powerful then the gamecube.
Which more or less makes it as powerful as the original xobx.
This would make sense since wii development costs have always been low and the wii is about a quarter the size of the xbox (meaning the wii isn't loaded to the brim with the newest tech).

Wait a minute...Weren't you trying to prove that Deadly Creatures would be a crappy game in the other thread? The graphical asset of Deadly Creatures is one thing, but until I see the game running at a playable framerate with proper effects-it's really hard to say that THQ has managed to advance the Wii appropiately. Although, we'll have to wait and see what Rainbow Studios can do.

That is in raw power only. The gamecube was almost as powerful as the xbox. So might as well say that the wii is 1.5-2 times more powerful than the xbox. We also showned by rolstopabble know that the wiis hardware isn't too well known. The wii is way more efficient than the original xbox also. So I just wanted to know the polygon count to add a little extra . If you want to see all of my points here is where I explained how the wii is more powerful http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?start=50&id=17651. Its second to last post.
Two times the power of the GameCube plus a little bit of duct tape power. ;)

Well no-one has said Nintendo hasn't told the devs under an NDA, but that wouldn't matter anyway. Devs have access to the hardware, and can test its limits themselves. Many hardware demanding titles (on any system) in their initial stages are more complex than the system can handle. It isn't until they start optimising (once they can see where the bottlenecks are) that titles are scaled back to the necessary levels.
^ Well the devs could tell everyone else but I already went over this with fazz.
Exact specs like you're requesting aren't really available for the PS3 or 360 either. They never matter, it always depends on how good the developer is and how much work they put into optimization.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
The biggest change to the Wii from the GC, is double the number of texel units. This gives the Wii approx double the fill rate, and double the texture effects. This is in addition to any increase of clock rate, or other changes.
This is part of the reason galaxy looks so pretty - it has lots of additional texture effects applied to just about every object in the world.
Its similar to having pixel shaders turned on - except that the shaders are "predetermined" - rather than actually programmed using a shader language. Bump mapping, Normal mapping, specular effects... etc.
