question, any word on what happened to BT's new IP?

I love how it is a big announcement that they are attempting to give the story substance. That is about as important as it is to the CoD fanbase anyway. I think people are awaiting horde and mp details than anything else.

It's put on hold, though the teaser was nothing but a concept.

put on hold means pretty much canceled unless they have another team being assembled for it or BT is spliting into two teams already.

As a owner of only one console, Gears of War was basically the only franchise on the 360 that i would have really liked to play last gen.

...until recently when a lot of people, including Microsoft loyalists, seemed to agree that it wasn't all that great after all.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
