Its difficult to predict. It depends in a good part on how linear the game is (wich im expecting it to be, and criticised for it) and the storyline (wich im unsure what to expect. Nomura does good storytelling with Kingdom Hearts but FF? We dont know).
The gameplay is Kingdom Hearts with bigger models. I dont expect it to be a problem aslong as it isnt automated.

If the combat is very enjoyable and the story good, it could bring the series back up. I expect the sales to be significant lowers than FFXIII though. The brand has been very damaged by that game and its sequals.

Then they'll hype up Final Fantasy XVI to the heavens. Rinse and repeat.

Because they have to downgrade the game so it also is playable on Xbox one the game became worse...- I expect to read =p;

I'm hoping it gets GOTY the year it comes out. Be nice to see a JRPG get it.
