TitanFall seems to have to most potential to be the multiplayer king... As long as EA doesn't fuck up the servers or the game, it should be really good

But if not, there is always Smash Bros (won't be king for all consoles but will be king for Nintendo consoles)

Everquest next! Maybe a cross platform mmorpg can take the crown. Mass effect wars might be able to do on consoles what star wars could not. Include ground assault, ship infiltrations, space battles and you've got all bases covered.

COD just needs to pull another modern warfare effect and it will dominate even more this gen. That is no easy task though.

Titanfall I believe (at least on Microsoft's platforms) and COD on other platforms.

Destiny is not going to be close to COD on other platform imo. While I like what Bungie did with Halo and what they are promising with Destiny, I do not believe it will be a purple cow in MP/Shooters. If anything, it will be very close to Halo...
