I dont know, maybe the virtuall world is utopia, which everyone want to live in.

Sometimes I just want to go to another world... a surreal world. It's the best form of entertainment and I get the best experiences with platformers, adventures and jrpg's. Sometimes I want to have a bad ass story, developing around a charakter. Those are the main reasons.

Rarely I play some fps competitively, but it's not my preferred genre.

I'd say that I enjoy games because I find the mental exercise of escaping into some kind of fictional world incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. I have a very strong ability to empathise with fictional characters as if they're real. In this sense, games are just the superior form of entertainment. Better than books (which are in turn better than TV/film).

Even something as simple as mario, I find I can easily dissolve into the mushroom kingdom so the only issue in the world is collecting that star coin....

For me games and anime is the best combination you can ever have.

Because it's fun... Isn't that the only reason? o.o
