Earlier today, we Monacelli also suggested that The Last of Us: Left Behind would beboth the first and last single-player DLC for the title.

So they can start quickly on a PS4 port, right? RIGHT?

Didn't they already say no to this?

I don't know. I don't see why they shouldn't do it. If not in the near future maybe in a few years.

Straight-up ports after only one year may be beneficial for the business but may hurt the brand. If they want to remake the game later then sure, but I don't think that mere modest updates are befitting of a Naughty Dog game.

Oh geez here we go again with the assumptions that they meant none of them will be released in 2014!! Sorry, but I'm almost 100% sure ND are aiming for November 2014 launch for uncharted ps4. It will have been in development since around december 2011 and january 2012 so a 3 year development time. Not to mention the ps4 is much easier to work with than ps3. Could I be wrong???? YES!!! But i'm still 100% sure it will release in 2014. And they have the flexibility from Sony to delay if they need to though as evidenced from TLOU.

Well if you could be wrong, how are you 100% sure? It takes time to create masterpieces. I mean, it'll release in 2014 in a best-case scenario but Naughty Dog are reluctant to date in case they want to add stuff and polish. And as you say, they did it last time.

Well i'm just saying it is possible I'm wrong, but at this moment I'm 100% sure it will be 2014.  If not then fine and it will make the game better in the end.  We likely won't hear a release date till E3 though with an awesomesauce demo of the game!!

I'll probably be getting a PS4 this year regardless but I would buy a PS4 in an instant if they made a demo available.

Ive thought about TLoU GotY Edtion being part of the 2014 PS4 holiday lineup for a while. Makes sense, with so many people still wanting it to happen.

Could even offer an Uncharted PS4 Beta with it. Be good for all parties.

Seriously people! Has nobody yet considered that he said that in that way because the next Uncharted game will NOT be called Uncharted 4?

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Not calling it Uncharted 4 could make it be perceived as a spinoff and hurt its potential of success.

Nope, because I came up with something better.

Yeah, but only because you did some research and stuff

Glad to be honest, already enough for 2014, better to spread out your launches, and by 2015 the hype for uc4 will be big, 2014 is too soon.

Not really, IMO they really coulda used uncharted to go against halo 5.

Disagree, sony doesnt need 1 game to go against halo, MS had halo gears, bioshock, me last gen and ps3 was fine..there are plenty of games, third party matters. Playstation was never a brand that relied on 1 or 2 big games, it was diversity, variety that drives the PS brand.,

Of course it will not just be upscaled to 180p but also newer and sharper textures added. I think it would be a great title for the early PS4 lineup for people who didn't own a PS3 or haven't yet tried it. I would buy it instantly since I only played through once when I rented it for 3 days.

A PS4 version would still be a great game, just without the eye cancer from last gen.
