You can now listen to 5 brand new tracks of the game, including an awesome remastering of Aquatic Ambience over the Japanese website. The soundtrack is pure magic!

amazing! I love the third and the fifth one

DKC2 because it is the perfect sequel then DKC second. I've never finished DKC3, and I have never opened my DKCR yet.
While DK64 never reached the revolutionary transition from 2D to 3D like Mario 64 could, I still think it is a fun game.

Don't ever try Jungle Beat!

DKCR, but DKC2 is so close behind it it's not funny.

All the SNES DKCs are over rated, the game play is shallow and repetitive at best.

Back then people were impressed by the pre-rendered 3D graphics, this is what drew all the attention to them... now unless you are nostalgic, I do not see why you would spend so much time with any of them.

I have not played the n64 and subsequent versions, so I can't tell for those.

DKC3 was the first I played and the only I bothered to play to the end, so I guess that's it.

Jungle Beat, easily.

A true masterpiece, but this is for Donkey Kong Country games only.

I'll admit the word country does not appear in the title, but in terms of genre, setting and aesthetics it's surely part of the series? Replace the bongos with a joypad and what are the differences (other than quality)?

DKC3. I don't get the hate it receives either.

I've played them all, but played the shit out of DKC3. I preferred the overworld map and locations to DKC2.

I disagree completely, I still play DKC3 from time to time and it still looks great and plays great (and sounds great :P).

it were like the SNES ones only better

DKC 2 for me. Yes, DKC3 is great.
