Forums - Nintendo - Wii U games that utilize 2 Gamepads

Was anyone else really looking forward to what could have happened?
The way it is selling, I know it'll never happen, but I was excited about the possibilities.

It would have been a great idea for coop games like first person shooters

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

I think it won't ever happen. Second Gamepad would currently have to retail for >$100.

Mario kart has high changes to be the first game with this feature

Someone mentioned on an older thread, but Yu-Gi-Oh! would've awesome!

any game could be made co-op with this feature.  Imagine two player Assassin's Creed?

Could've been really cool for co-op games that use split screen.

Battleship anyone?

I think an iOS / Android hardware add-on that makes the device an additional WiiU gamepad could be a viable option -- especially if it allowed some VC games to be on it.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Strategy games and Card games would be an amazing addition to the Wii U and could use this feature really well

Current Game Machines: 3DS, Wii U, PC.

Currently Playing: X-Com(PC), Smash Bros(WiiU), Banner Saga(PC), Guild Wars 2(PC), Project X Zone(3DS), Luigis Mansion 2(3DS), DayZ(PC)

Sorry slight OT, but does anybody know any Wii games that use two remotes for single player?

Edit: for one player, sorry about the confusion

Carpe diem!
