I haven't played the demo yet but I will soon. I wonder if this is a good supplement to working out in the gym.

Note that you need at least a Balance Board to make some use of it, and that the promotion concludes next week.

Get to it, get Fit ;)

My icon has the promo title too...it's a little worrying. But I synced the meter in December so I should be good. I hope.

To everyone who already has a balance board and a Wii U, I highly recommend taking advantage of this promotional offer. It's a steal.

Yeah, I know that. I own the original - but thanks anyway :) Unfortunately I was pretty damn lazy back then haha.

Japan made an ad alerting people that the trial period is ending,
just look at how they sell it. Wii Fit for U.

Anyways, NoA didn't make any ads, they just did a press release.

Time is running out for free fitness. Jan. 31 is the last day for Wii U owners who also have a Wii Balance Board to take advantage of Nintendo’s free trial offer of Wii Fit U. Anyone who downloads the trial of the game from the Nintendo eShop on or before Jan. 31 will get a full month to try out the game from the date that it’s first played.

Those who download the trial and want to keep using the software indefinitely can purchase a Fit Meter and sync it to the game. Fit Meter accessories are available at a suggested retail price of $19.99 each.

Other ways to purchase and play the game are as follows:

The Wii Fit U bundle, which includes the game, the Wii Balance Board accessory and Fit Meter accessory, is now available in stores at a suggested retail price of $89.99.

People who already own a Wii Balance Board can purchase Wii Fit U with a Fit Meter in stores at a suggested retail price of $49.99. Or (after Jan. 31) they can download the game, without the Fit Meter, from the Nintendo eShop for $29.99.

I think the promotional subtitle will go away when the digital Wii Fit U releases on the eShop and ours will be updated then.

This isn't the kind of market segment you can make rush to buy over a promotion. I don't see how they'll sell any units after a $30 price hike.

If i have the wiiu and the balance board and i buy the fit meter to sync it, not now but like two weeks (i already have the demo version) or later, i will still be able to get the full game?

can we buy the fit meter and download the free trial after jan 31 to get the game forever?

Yes, but you have to do it before the trial period of your demo expires. It should tell you how many days you have left.

You have to download the promo version before the 1st Feb, then you have 30 days to sync a Fit Meter to unlock it.
From 1st Feb onwards it will become the digital Wii Fit U with a price of 30.
