Now it's settled, those "awards" have 0 credibility.

Aww it's too bad 3D World didn't win. Then it would have been perfect right? Have you even played TLOU Zero? Or does your blind hatred of Sony prevent you from enjoying any of their game offerings.

He has a different opinion. Therefor he is a fanboy? Hypocrisy is the world I'm thinking.
on-topic: Awards mean nothing on the Internet. 150 awards from 100 sites you never heard of or known of means nothing. It's not even like critic awards were you have actual creditability. The facts are unless you can prove all these awards mean something than there is no reason to bring it up. It reminds me of when 3d world won game of the year by eurogamer. Why does it matter what they consider is game of the year. You don't go to college or some program to determine this.

His opinion basically is "Everybody is wrong except me"
The awards mean that people liked the game, if most people liking something doesn't prove the quality of something then what does it?

Look up the bandwagon fallacy. Random awards from random sites have to substance. Did you look up the awards to see if they have reason or is a creditable site? If I had a poll on nintendo site saying what is better game wind waker or god of war. If zelda won would you therefor say well it got the most votes therefor it's the best. This whole argument that quality of game is determined from Internet awards is fallacious by nature. You don't even know what games they played this year and what they actually like as genre.

Alright lets use Metacritic then, it has a current score of 95 and is the game with the most perfect scores in the site with over 40, Metacrict is the best and most recognized score collectors and it takes reviews from the most prestigious sites and publications from the media but if that is not enough then lets see the user's score, it has a 9.1 with over 5,000 reviews, if I'm not mistaken it´s the best user's score on the site. Seems like both critics and gamers love the game.
I'm not saying everybody will love this game, but you can't say people's opinion have "zero credibility" just because you don´t agree
