You don't actually believe that do you? The 3DS has peaked and is declining in Japan, the Vita is no where near its peak. I can't really imagine the 3DS outselling the Vita (week by week) in Japan past 2014.

I don't know what you are trying to do with these threads. For the majority of Sony fans the 3DS doesn't even exist because it's not a home console. So any success or doom for it is irrelevant.

Why is it irrelevan? If that is the case then the Vita is irrelevant as well. Especially with sub Dreamcast sales after two years.

Handheld market is irrelevant to Sony, or at least that what their actions leds to believe.

Yes the Vita is irrelevant. It's nothing more than a PS4 accessory.

Why haven't I seen a thread about Vita outselling 3DS in Japan? I better go make it pronto.

Too bad vita.tv isn't doing so hot though. It got crushed by the 3DS LL.

I think 3DS will outsell vita this year, and probably next year. While 3DS might have peaked, Im starting to doubt Vita will ever peak. The last two years have been awful for the console, and while this year will be a lot better, I doubt we'll consider the sales "good". Maybe decent or ok.

But what I meant with "vita will never overtake 3ds" was in total sales. I did not read the entire, nor did I fully understand, the OP.
