If a system is powerful and isn't selling well, you shouldn't say anything negative about its sales or games lineup. If you do, you are being a "hater". If system is NOT powerful and isn't selling well, it's natural to complain about its sales and games lineup, and perfectly fine if you do so excessively. If you don't, you are being a "fanboy".

If a game exclusive to your console of choice has a high Metacritic score, then it's okay to tout it. However, if it has a low score, then it doesn't matter because it's simply people's opinions.
