lol This is EA and MS we are talking about..You seriously believe MS cannot pull it off???
|
if they want to make money they cant.

Huh? If that's the case, why on earth would EA not let titanfall be on ps4 now?? Your logic does not add up..
|
im sorry but what? your logic is the one making no sense.
TitanFall is new IP, MS probably payed so much to almost cover up development and is obviously marketing it a lot from its own pocket. that eliminates a huge risk for EA with titanfall. it also kind of creates a marketing buzz, since its "exclusive" (meaning not on PS) you got people hating on it, and fanboys praising it to death. you already got people calling it GOTG on here, and you already got people praising non stop too. either way, people who troll it are still talking about it, and no publicity is bad publicity. remember the huge BF3 vs CoD back in 2011? it was all staged, EA kept comparing the two even though they knew they would fall short, result? CoD breaks records, but hey, BF3 also breaks BF records. people kept comparing the two shitting on CoD, but it just resulted in it selling more.
but now, if TF sells like hot cakes (assuming that means around the 10M mark). that means the franchise is a success. and what ever game they make next, there wont be a huge risk with it. if you havent remembered, EA also has been eying that number 1 publisher in the FPS market, they said so openly since 2011. if they want that, they need to release on PlayStation. releasing on PS would also mean more money unless microsoft shells out hunders of millions or even half a billion. and it would be a huge loss for microsoft, it just isnt worth it.y ou also have to consider that if microsoft can shell out all this money, why havent it done so for Battlefield, Call of duty, GTA and fifa? its just not worth it for the publisher, they would make much more money being multiplatform. from sales and DLC.
also, another form of marketing would be when TF2 is announced on PS4, the internet would flip, resulting in more people talking about it. also, we have EA's own words of the rotation of its FPS games, it will be BF, battlefront, and TF. why on earth would they keep one game exclusive to xbox while the others arent?
anyways, IF TF2 is exclusive, then xbox fans should go spit on microsofts face, because microsoft would have spent hunders of millions to keep a game away from PS that is coming to xbox either way, and could have spent those hunders of millions making new games instead.
