As luck would have it, Kojima is charging just that price ($30) for his next demo. :P

On serious note, most games do end up dropping to that $20-30 price point within weeks. Waiting a bit surely helps unless one knows the price is going to take months and sometimes years to drop.

Exactly, I can't pay extra $5-$10 + 12% tax on every single game... I hope to god eshop/psn/xbla doesn't get affected by this, I am willing to go digital to save extra $5 on every game and I can cut my tax to 5% if I change my location to Alberta... Arghhh, so dumb


Do they now tax on consoles? The only platform I ever buy digitally now a days is Steam and we seem to just get the US prices.

Unless you buy Nintendo games where the prices never drop for new titles until the next console generation... :/

I mean, If I have to pay for Smash Bros, X, MK8 and etc an extra $5 when I go to ebgames/walmart tomorrow to find out if this stupid thing is actually true... I am gonna punch a baby (not really but you know what I mean)... I always buy physical games and this sitution is just stupid... I guess I am gonna have to do that PO Box trick and order everything from amazon us if this actually happens... The consumer rights is just so bad these days... Heck, if wiiU games stay the same price cause its not considered a next gen system for many, I will be happy with that too

And I like buying new Nintendo games cause of club Nintendo

$65 for Tombraider rehashed then? Hmm, I haven't played it yet, but it gets less interesting every day.
I quickly ordered some more blu-rays on Amazon.ca before they raise the prices and got suckered into today's deal, Indiana Jones blu-ray box set for CAD 24.99 (it includes the dud, still a great deal)

Future Shop's price still looks to still be the same but it's also late in the day too, only thing to do now is play the waiting game.

In a few months they all plummet down anyway.

And how quickly we forget that at the start of last-gen most new games were $70; it wasnt until the Canadian dollar exceeded the American one that they finally decided to drop it.
