we've seen things like Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon developed by Next Level games but not much else, from the japanese side of things we've got Techmo Koei doing a crossover of Zelda and Dynasty Warriors, Namco working on Smash and assissting with WWHD, Atlus and Intelligent Systems working together on Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, etc. so there's definately a pretty big imbalance. seeing as Iwata finally realized that he doesn't understand the western market gives me hope that Nintendo will finally build on that western part of NOA and NOE and collaborate with more western 3rd parties, if such a thing happens, what would you like to see? Assassin's Creed style Zelda spin-off where you play as Zelda/Shiek during the 7 year period in OoT by Ubisoft? a graphically intensive F-Zero by Slightly Mad? Discuss

based on the "only Nintendo games sell on Nintendo platforms theory", i'd think letting third parties apply their gameplay on existing Nintendo franchises would pave the way for 3rd party games to start being successful on Nintendo platforms again. of course this is just a theory and isn't going to happen overnight, and it might even backfire, but who know?

i don't think MS would allow that XD

atleast not as a WiiU exclusive, and putting Samus on another platform is kinda out of the question, but it could work on the 3DS i guess? Microsoft isn't against their franchises getting games on their compititors' handhelds.
