Dont think people really hate nintendo, it's just easy to troll cause of the poor success and high expectations of some fans who get easily offended and make threads like this :P

Why do people like to hate haters?

The haters helped xbox one more than its fans who pledged to buy one regardless of what they were given.
Im sure they can help the wii U too.

love ends with companies counting money.
hate ends with companies working to fix problems.

I wish more people hated the vita, then sony would announce more games for it.

I like Nintendo, because they will always do their thing no matter what the competition does.
The bad part is that Nintendo is so out of touch with reality lately, that they fail to create something that consumers really want.

And they really really really need to realise that something called "HD" or "Online" or "entertainment" are no fads, but major selling points for every console. I can guarantee that a fun and cool game like Mario Kart would be the best thing ever on Xbox Live. So many cool moments to share, so many achievements, so many fun matches, so many cool leaderboards... there are no limitations.

And Nintendo comes up with "My Mario Kart code is 4572475475525336987230 - add me!"

Because Nintendo fans have the loudest reaction to hate. It's a vicious cycle of the "tough" younger brother teasing the "sensitive" older brother.

IMO the "nintendo's hate" exists because VG's sites are full of Core/15-30 years old/male gamers that are not the nintendo's target since ever! They don't like the fact that nintendo focused on kids and old non-gamer people since Wii,always making cartoonish, "PG free" games. They want Eternal Darkness,Mature Designed Zelda,F-Zero,Metroid and new IPs that follow this trend,but nintendo is doing the opposite.

I never disliked nintendo, but before the Wii they always tried to innovate and good technology they in fact had better consoles than sony did, but they MS entered the competition and they GC did poorly so they got scared when went with cheap hardware and a gimmick, the Wii, then becuase of the context it was in, PS3 having a terrible launch, and the interesting of the "casuals" the Wii started selling and they pretended it was part of the plan, all the time, and there is where i started to dislike them, not hate, they the tried the same strategy with the Wii U but the context was not there, the gimmick was not as appealing and the "casual" market they "found" moved else where because they dont demand any kind of quality, so cheap and F2P stole their market, so they got what they deserve.

I they had invested in online, services and HD graphics and have also the motion controls I would have said that the Wii was their honest attempt to innovate but they didnt, not they are struggling to catch up.
