Fable 2 was given away as a free game with gold at the very start of that promotion, while I have the phsical copy of Fable 2 I got an xbla license to play it without the disk just incase that ever happened to my copy, shame you missed out on it :( Fable 2 is still a beautiful looking 360 game.

I was corrected by Hollabackenny it was actually Fable 3 which was one of the First games with gold not number 2, so at least you didn't lose out on it.

Just thought of something btw, you know if you happen to have a friend with a copy of the game and you install it on your 360 your dodgy disk will let you fully play the game. All the 360 has to do is read the license in the very middle shiny part of the disk to acknowledge that you have a copy of Fable 2 then it will allow you to fully enjoy the installed content. If you want to be cheeky you could even go to gamestop or other 2nd hand store, buy a copy, go home, install it and then return to the shop to claim the person you bought it for had already owned it or so. They wont mind really and you'll get to play using your original license with the data installed from the pre owned copy.

Had to do something similar when it came to playing through the first Gears game with a mate, was getting ready to play through 1+2 just before 3 came out and he went to install his copy and it didn't work, I called over with my disk, installed it on his then went back and we played through the whole thing him just using the scratched to shit copy to start up my installed data.
