I think every project would fail
As Reggie said it so beautifully. What gamers want doesn't necessary result in sales. I think there is not much chance at least for WiiU games.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
How about Iwata, Reggie, and the rest of the Nintendo heads get off their collective asses and do their jobs instead of relying on their fans.
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
Third parties should do kickstarters to localize their games. All those niche games that have a good chance of selling. Just do a kickstarter. If it gets a specific amount, then localize it. It takes a whole two seconds and it's guaranteed money if it's funded.
I'm constantly wondering why they don't do this. Sega should do it with Yakuza 5. Square Enix should do it with Final Fantasy Type 0. If people want a physical copy, Square Enix could even have the physical collector's edition as a $60 option. Those that pay $40 only get a digital version.
Then after they made their guaranteed profit on kickstarter, when the game finally releases, they'll make more profit from selling it in stores or more digital only copies.
Third parties shouldn't make games on the Wii U if they're going to be bad XB360 copies, so far 85% of them have been half baked ports. The other 15% were delayed, released months late, sold at $50 when the others are $30, terrible 2 year old ports, missing DLC, and a reskined year old game trying to pass as the newest yearly iteration.

The thing about this is that they don't result in sales that the company wants. I mean if you profit any, then it creates jobs, and you make more money however little.
A lot of these developers just don't want a small profit. Unless it's in the high millions, fuck the consumer.
