Third parties should do kickstarters to localize their games. All those niche games that have a good chance of selling. Just do a kickstarter. If it gets a specific amount, then localize it. It takes a whole two seconds and it's guaranteed money if it's funded.

I'm constantly wondering why they don't do this.  Sega should do it with Yakuza 5.  Square Enix should do it with Final Fantasy Type 0.  If people want a physical copy, Square Enix could even have the physical collector's edition as a $60 option.  Those that pay $40 only get a digital version.

Then after they made their guaranteed profit on kickstarter, when the game finally releases, they'll make more profit from selling it in stores or more digital only copies.
