If this was Sega and the game was called Virtua Fighter Remix, this game would be free to everyone that purchased the original game.

I know.  I'm just desperate for something to play on a nwe gen console.  At least I know it's a good game.  I did the same with Resident Evil 4 on the Wii.  Couldn't find anything else to play at the time and I knew RE4 was fun,

If this were Tecmo and this was called Dead or Alive Ultimate, it would have come with a free copy of Tomb Raider from 1996.

To get up to 60fps and see similar results to PS4's digital foundry videos, setting had to be lower to what I felt was below PS4 level graphics.

Now, I currently running a 780ti, and yes that will pretty much do whatever I want but it comes at a mighty price. Expecting PS4 and XBO to do 1080p/60fps and be at a competitive price is complete BS. Even if We had waited 2 more years for RAM stack directly on the APU for near TB/s speed with ridiculously low latency, it would still have fell short of the best PC's. But, it would still wipe the floor with mid range GPU's, and cost well over a $1000 to get similar performance.

Give it a year or 2 and PS4 and XBO will easily be pulling off games that will bring R9 280's and GTX 770's to there knees. Optimization, low level API's, and platform knowledge change the game a lot. By this time the Consoles will be $300 and a computer matching there capabilities will still run you well over $800.

So, bring on the 1080p/30fps titles. May they be lock solid, and perfectly optimized. In 2 years I will join the 1080p/30fps crowed even with my 780ti, because that's the way things go.

 

Just to add to this, the  GTX 760 is the low end of the "new" card set (it's under $200 and hell when I bought mine, it came with Assassin's Creed 4 and SC: Blacklist), and the PS4 version of Battlefield runs in 900p,  not 1080p. Surprisingly that makes a big difference with performance.

While the consoles undoubtably have "unlockable potential", you have to keep in mind AMD is pretty much bringing the same ability to PCs with Mantle.

I don't think you screwed it up... If Tomb Raider Definitive edition was like Tecmos DOA Ultimate, you would get the original Tomb Raider with this game.
