Someone tell me cause I don't feel like reading through the posts.

How many Sony fans played the worldwide card > America card? Because this happens every time Sony loses a NPD. I bet Ethomaz played the "supply" card and took random pictures of X1's in a store.

I will do you one better, Sony won NPD 2013 .

Ok.....but they still lost December, since that is what I am talking about.

However PS4 was more supply limited. And since PS4 sold over a million more in other territories, they hade less supply in the U.S. so the ''worldwide card'' is valid in this case.

860K is still fantastic and obviously could've been much higher if they shipped more. Some people here were celebrating as if X1 outsold the PS4 2:1...

To be fair it wasn't expected to outsell it at all.

And most people here live in America. It is a home turf victory. After all, why would a American gamer truly care about sales in a continent they don't live in?

Does it not go both ways, how many MS fans will yell NDp dec whilel losing world wide.  Its championing winning a small battle while losing the war, how smart is that.

And PS4 shortages are legit, it is what it is.

Would be nice if you guys just ever accepted a loss for once lol. Like you won worldwide so theres no shame in just being ok with PS4 losing the US. No need to make excuses every time.

Well it makes more sense because most posters on Vgchartz live in the US/Canada. So there is nothing wrong with celebrating a victory where you live.

Yet we have American Sony fans championing PS4 sales in France/Spain, etc. Unless you have European citizenship in those countries, celebrating foreign victories makes far less sense when your own backyard is losing.

First of all i'm just having some fun in this discussion, i'm not part of a brand fanbase.

I am interested in sales however and it's pretty clear Xbox One sold slightly more because off supply. If PS4 hade launched in less country's(and hade lower sales in Europe) and moved that supply to the U.S. it would have won December hands down. And it's Microsoft that is losing it's main territory, since PS4 is still ahead in the U.S. and will start outselling the Xbox One in the coming weeks.

X1 getting worked in Europe will mean 3rd partys favor it.  Which will mean PS4 gets better versions and more better addons timed exclusivity and so on.

So celelbratin a tiny win is pointless when losing ww affects your gaming, or do you not care Bungie is favoring PS and many devs are likely to follow.

K that's nice. Just saying a American celebrating a American win makes sense. American celebrating a win in France while losing in America = not so much.

Bungie still making X1 games. If they make a PS4 exclusive, then talk to me.

Well it makes more sense because most posters on Vgchartz live in the US/Canada. So there is nothing wrong with celebrating a victory where you live.

Yet we have American Sony fans championing PS3 sales in France/Spain, etc. Unless you have European citizenship in those countries, celebrating foreign victories makes far less sense when your own backyard is losing.

We also have european Xbox fans championing the NPD numbers so there's that.

Celebrating a Superball win means what whenl compared to the guy celebrating winning the World Cup.
