I hope the trend of XBO and PS4 selling well continues. Sony deserve success for finally getting their heads out of their asses for the majority of the generation. And MS deserve success for getting their head out of their asses with the reversal, and generally having the best platform (imo).

Can't help but feel the PS4+XBone launches took a bit from the 3DS momentum. Interesting 2014 ahead!

Wait, what? Of course it was a lie. How could Xb one be the fastest selling in November when from launch to the end of November it only sold 6000 units more than PS4 sold on its opening weekend? PS4 definitely got to Xb One's total November sales level in fewer days than it took Xb one. So how does Xb one become the fastest seller?

  • During the month of December, Xbox One held six of the top 10 spots on the new generation console game title list: “Battlefield 4,” “Forza Motorsport 5,” “Dead Rising 3,” “Ryse: Son of Rome,” “Madden NFL 25” and “Call of Duty: Ghosts” (Source: NPD Group, December 2013).  

Fans continue to show their excitement for new generation Xbox One games, with U.S. consumers purchasing an average of 2.9 games* per console since launch.

481k Wii U is still not good, but the console is alive at least.
Nov./Dec. was a good comeback after 10 horrible months.

PS4/X1 hype after E3 negatively influenced Wii U sales more than the release of the two consoles.
