For this comparison, i'm comparing 2006 onwards, now i won't count the new zelda game or wind walker hd as that's unfair.

Probably no. Zelda is widely recognized even outside of gaming, You also didnt include Twilight Princess for GC.

Ocarina of Time was a remake and sold 3m, my guess would be that in 10 years if they remade uncharted it wouldnt sell the same amount.

Then if you add up all the zelda games in the same time period it comes out being on top as well.

Uncharted also will not be able to branch off the way zelda does.

I will say that Uncharted 2/3 were both pretty big and definitely bigger than individual instalments for zelda. But as for the whole picture id say zelda.

Both great franchises though. Glad theyre continuing with uncharted personally.

Twilight Princess for GC and Wii are one title which is why they should be included together is what i was saying.  Same goes to GTAV for PS360.

And yes these games can outsell them.  Can they branch off the same way?  Will they sell well in 10 years?  

As for GTA it is one of the biggest franchises of all time.  Same goes for Call of Duty.  Uncharted isnt really on that list. Mario has sold i believe around 400m games?  cant remember.  Zelda has sold around 73m according to VGC.  Uncharted at 18m  

As for generations then yeah you can make a comparison.  Uncharted was bigger than Zelda wii.  Was it bigger than zelda as a whole?  Probably not.

For uncharted to be bigger it would need to be able to branch off, sell well on both handhelds and home consoles, and become a mascot that the world would recognize.
