I think its gonna be brilliant, simply because theyre going back to the horror roots of the franchise.

Yes.It´s a very different game from CM and Gearbox has nothing to do with this game.

I'm hopeful, but the train wreck that was Colonial Marines has made me a little cynical.

Also wanted to agree with oniyide: Infestation is an excellent, overlooked game.

This is honestly the very first 'Alien' game of any kind that I've ever looked forward to. Survival horror with no weapons within the setting of the original Ridley Scott movie? Hell yes. The footage we've seen so far hasn't show a lot, but there is great potential for something special. And the interviews I've seen make me feel confident that this may actually be a solid game. Anything can change from now until release, but I for one am genuinely excited at the moment.

I hope it is great, but I definitely do not think anyone on Earth should pre-order it. They don't deserve any money whatsoever in advance of release due to the outright lie and consumer deception that was CM.
